SHARE Community’s garden project is having an Open Day as part of Depression Awareness Week. Many SHARE students suffer from mental health issues such as depression, and they have found learning horticulture very beneficial for them. Some of these students will be on hand to talk to visitors and tell their stories. Also available will be information about the Mental Health Recovery Star model, which SHARE has recently started to work with; information about all the courses and services available through SHARE Community; tours of the garden and light refreshments.
